Ever since I fell in love with clay I've wanted to do more sculptural work. Sara Radstone, a British artist, works primarily that way. You can see more of her work here, at Marsden Woo Gallery in London, where she is represented.
I took these works of mine to a professional photographer a few weeks back. I think the details are much better in these photos than when I have shot them. I still find that some works, like the very monochromatic ones, are not coming out well. It's a pity too, since those are the ones I am most interested in making right now.
I have not been able to find out much about this artist, Arie de Groot. His website is here, and I think he is Dutch. I think much of this work has stitching and textile elements but I'm not sure. I like the use of these frames. If anyone knows something more, please let me know.
