Warhol Drawings

I got to take a look at the freshly printed book of Andy Warhol's drawings from the 50s last week. They are really wonderful. The draughtsmanship is something. I am always an enthusiast of torn and taped paper for drawing. As someone said they are "more Egon Schiele than pop art". The book From Silverpoint to Silver Screen, Warhol: The 1950s Drawings, by Daniel Blau, was published by Hirmir in January. I found a nice article about the drawings and the book over here.
