Olson House

This is the Olson House, the subject of many of Andrew Wyeth's paintings. I visited today in hopes of capturing the feeling of being in a Wyeth painting that takes hold of me when I am there. Last year at this time I went, but forgot my camera! I vowed to return when the light was perfect, and today was that day. I can't capture the absolute magic of this place, but I hope something of the pristine beauty comes through in these shots. Go, if you get the chance.
