Here is a little bit of what summer has been like. Look at the beautiful bowls made by Ingrid Bathe, and produce from the farm. We have been eating the most delicious beets, squash, corn and green beans. Here is a kid in the swimming hole in Bristol Mills. I have been sketching and painting and gardening. The sweetness of this time is colored by the frenzy of trying to experience everything to the fullest. All longing seems to be about this.
Why do we go all the way up to Belfast to go to Chase's? For the vibe, the art, the coffee, the farmers market, the sketching, the food, the flowers, the coolness.
Here is what is keeping me busy. The garden is in need of non-stop attention these days. And when I am not weeding or planting I am looking at other gardens. Check out Erika's amazing window boxes at both her stores...Rock,Paper, Scissors has the soft motif and Smitten has the warm one. Pure joy.
