In the Studio

I've been in the studio! I'm working on some drawings and poured acrylic pieces. This year I am making at least one work a day as I did in 2010. I find that it keeps me engaged in my process more than any other routine. I always work much more than I think I will once I get started. I wonder why I find it so difficult to get started sometimes?

  1. Oh my! Lari, these are amazing! I'm so excited to see you working like crazy, it inspires me. It is hard to get started, isn't it? So far so good over here, working away as well.

  6. Thanks Cathy and Shawn! Your kind words will keep me going. Shawn, I used to have an Etsy shop but now I sell through my shows and you can just email me through the contact button on the right under my little profile. I can send you pictures or you can look through my Flickr stream for things you like and we can talk! I'd love to do that.

  7. Your work looks great and I know what you mean, by finding it difficult to get started. For me that's always the hardest part. You're right, when you're in it often isn't hard anymore. Your routine with at least one piece a day sounds great - maybe I can do that too? (with a little start failure ;)
