After Class

Here are some post-workshop photos. I'm still trying to figure out all the technical aspects of converting raw files to jpegs, etc. Currently I have the disk for the card reader software stuck in my computer! So that should give you some idea of where I am. I learned so much at the workshop. I feel that I understand my camera now, and that I can practice with  f stops and shutter speeds, etc. I know the basics of how to use Lightroom software, and how to print photos. Lots of intense learning, and in some ways I've taken a step backwards in quality of my photos since I'm not using the auto mode anymore, but I feel excited about the possibilities of what can happen as I continue to practice with manual settings.

  2. Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing! I learned so much about seeing from hanging out with my family full of photographers. It was great to learn all of this well before digital photography took over our lives!

  3. The Maine workshops are incredible. I attended 10 year ago with my film camera. I think I learned more in that one week than I have in years of additional class. I have a dream of completing my MFA in photography when my kids go to college. Glad to hear the workshops are still great! Your pictures are beautiful!
